¡Hola!
This week marked the beginning to another change, the return of President
and Sister Glazier, and the arrival of Presidente y Hermana Vasquez. Presidente
Vasquez is from Guatemala and was a Branch President in the MTC and a Stake
President. He has an I'm a Mormon video, so if you want to look it up his name
is Bruno Vasquez.
Elder Ibarra and I are continually striving to better ourselves and work even harder! We've really been able to see our improvement in our numbers and we know that as we continue we'll keep on increasing.
This Wednesday we're going to have a Multi-Zone to meet Presidente y Hermana Vasquez. When President Glazier left, he asked each missionary to make a vision with goals and plans on how to become a perfect missionary. To me, being a perfect missionary is being a consecrated missionary like Tad R. Callister said. A consecrated missionary literally gives all of himself, his pride, fear, disobedience, laziness, passions, everything! He truly lives the law of consecration and gives up his old self completely.
I know that it's difficult, but possible and that anyone can do it if they really desire to. As Tad R. Callister said; "I do not believe the Lord expects immediate perfection, but immediate progress, and with progress over time comes consecration." I know that that's true and I want to and can achieve that level of obedience!
