This week has been great. Alberto Callejas got baptized and confirmed
yesterday! It really was a miracle that we were able to find and teach him when
we did. The missionaries before had taught him and his wife who was then
less-active, but he couldn't be baptized because they weren't married. When we
found his teaching record in the Area Book and we visited them they told us that
they had gotten married a week before! I know that Heavenly Father helped us to
find him when he was ready and prepared to receive the Gospel and be baptized
and we were simply the instruments in His hands to bring to pass His work. Also,
if the other Elders didn't fill out the Area Book we might not have found
him.
Ana Gloria is our next possible baptism. It's been a little frustrating
because she's been on and off about getting baptized, but if everything turns
out the way we hope she'll be baptized this coming Saturday.
We were able to remember what we've already learned but kind of forgotten
from the principles in Preach My Gospel in our District Meeting and when we had
divisions this week, and since then we've gotten more baptismal dates and we've
been finding more and more of the Lord's chosen people. As we continue forward I
know we'll see more miracles and baptisms in the future!
¡Levántate! ¡Podemos hacerlo ahora!
Love,
Elder San Diego
